The East Kent Urgent Treatment Centre Alliance

In East Kent we formed an alliance with four other providers to roll out four urgent treatment centres (UTCs) across the area. The UTCs were introduced in 2020 and we have three - in Ashford, Canterbury and Margate - which operate on a 24/7 basis. Our fourth UTC - in Dover - operates for 12 hours a day. 

Our alliance brings together a unique combination of general practitioners, out of hours providers, NHS 111 and secondary care providers to support a truly integrated service and make sure that our patients experience a seamless service.

We are proud to be working with East Kent Hospitals Foundation Trust, Ashford Clinical Providers, Invicta Health CIC and Thanet Health CIC to deliver these services for our patients.
