IC24 Invests in a Greener Future with Solar Panel Installation at Kingston House
IC24 has taken another important step in its commitment to sustainability with the installation of new solar panels at Kingston House, one of the organisation's major office locations.
The investment supports IC24's wider organisational strategy to reduce its environmental impact, improve energy efficiency, and ensure resources are used responsibly across its estate. By generating renewable energy on-site, the solar panels will help reduce reliance on traditional energy sources while supporting a more sustainable future.
The installation will deliver both environmental and operational benefits, generating clean energy to help power day-to-day activities at Kingston House while reducing overall energy consumption and associated costs. It forms part of a broader programme of sustainability initiatives being implemented across IC24.
In the coming months, IC24 will continue to introduce environmentally focused improvements across its sites, including new green infrastructure at Kingston House and at Herstmonceux Integrative Health Centre.
The solar panel project builds on a number of sustainability measures already introduced, including:
• Transitioning parts of the vehicle fleet from petrol-powered vehicles to hybrid vehicles.
• Encouraging sustainable practices through staff engagement initiatives.
• Standardising recycling facilities across all sites.
Together, these initiatives are helping IC24 reduce its carbon footprint, use resources more efficiently, and strengthen its commitment to environmental responsibility.
