IC24 Celebrates Success and Shared Learning at UHUK Conference 2026
IC24 has returned from the UHUK Conference 2026 with plenty to celebrate, from thought-provoking discussions on the future of urgent care to national recognition for two initiatives that are helping to make a real difference for colleagues and patients alike.
The conference brought together healthcare professionals from across the sector to explore how we can build the next era of urgent and integrated neighbourhood care.
During the event, Dr Tim Merchant, Medical Director for Integrated Urgent Care, joined a panel discussion on breaking down barriers to early prevention and the role urgent care services play in supporting healthier communities. Meanwhile, Dan Hubbard, Director of Operations for Integrated Urgent Care, joined CLEO Systems to discuss how data can be turned into meaningful insights that drive better decision-making, service improvement and patient care.
The conference concluded with a memorable evening at the UHUK Awards, where IC24 was awarded Gold in the People First category for its #BetterTogether campaign and Silver in the Outstanding Engagement and Involvement category for Putting Patient Engagement at the Heart of IC24.
These awards are a testament to the passion, teamwork and dedication of colleagues across IC24. From championing engagement and collaboration to continuously improving services for patients, the achievements reflect the values that drive our organisation every day.
