IC24 Aligns with the UK Core Skills Training Framework (CSTF)
New training standards mean our staff can hit the ground running—and patients can trust they’re in safe, skilled hands.
We’re really happy to share some exciting news about how we support our people at IC24. We’ve officially aligned our staff training modules with the UK Core Skills Training Framework (CSTF) — a nationally recognised standard for essential healthcare training.
This might sound like a technical change, but it makes a big difference to our teams and to everyone who uses our services.
We know that great care starts with great training. Our teams work in a fast-moving healthcare environment, and keeping skills up to date helps us continue delivering safe, confident, compassionate care every day.
By aligning with the CSTF, we’re making sure all our training meets the same high-quality national standards used across the healthcare sector. It means everyone at IC24 is supported with the right knowledge from the moment they start.
One of the best parts of this change is how it benefits new colleagues joining us.
If you’ve recently completed CSTF-recognised training at another organisation, you won’t need to repeat the same modules when you start at IC24. We can simply accept your existing evidence and help you move through onboarding more smoothly.
Less duplication, less time spent re-doing things you’ve just learned and more time focusing on settling in.
Our patients and service users can also feel the impact. CSTF alignment gives them reassurance that everyone they interact with at IC24 is trained to nationally recognised standards. It helps us keep our services safe, consistent, and centred around the people who rely on us.
We’re proud of this step forward — and excited to keep supporting our people with the tools, training, and confidence they need to thrive at IC24.
