IC24 Achieves Menopause Friendly Accreditation
We are proud to announce that we have officially achieved Menopause Friendly Accreditation, recognising our commitment to creating an inclusive workplace where colleagues experiencing menopause feel supported, valued and empowered.
The accreditation celebrates the significant work IC24 has undertaken to embed menopause awareness into its wider Inclusion & Belonging and wellbeing approach. From dedicated manager guidance and learning resources to regular menopause drop-in sessions, workplace adjustments and awareness campaigns, the organisation has demonstrated a sustained commitment to supporting colleagues throughout every stage of menopause.
The independent assessment panel praised IC24 for its holistic approach, recognising the organisation's commitment to listening to colleagues' lived experiences, engaging senior leaders, and ensuring menopause is embedded within everyday workplace culture rather than treated as a standalone initiative.
To achieve the accreditation, IC24 was assessed against five key pillars that demonstrate what good menopause support looks like in practice: Culture, Engagement, Working Environment, Policies and Practices, and Training. Across each of these areas, the assessment recognised the progress we have made in embedding menopause awareness into the way we work and supporting colleagues with practical, meaningful action.
Over the past few years we have introduced a wide range of initiatives, including:
-
Regular menopause drop-in sessions providing confidential peer support.
-
Dedicated guidance for managers and employees.
-
Menopause awareness training available through the learning platform.
-
Flexible workplace adjustments tailored to individual needs.
-
Free period products across office locations.
-
Awareness campaigns covering wider women's health topics including endometriosis and ovarian cancer.
-
A growing menopause working group supported by the Gender Equality Colleague Resource Group.
The panel particularly recognised our commitment across all five pillars:
-
Culture – creating an open, inclusive environment where menopause is talked about without stigma and colleagues feel safe seeking support.
-
Engagement – listening to colleague feedback, involving our Gender Equality Colleague Resource Group, menopause working group and senior leaders, and using lived experience to shape our approach.
-
Working Environment – providing practical workplace adjustments, wellbeing spaces, flexible working options, occupational health support, desk fans and period products to help colleagues remain comfortable at work.
-
Policies and Practices – embedding menopause into our wellbeing strategy through dedicated guidance, manager support, flexible working arrangements and clear workplace processes.
-
Training – equipping colleagues and managers with the knowledge and confidence to understand menopause through dedicated learning modules, awareness events and leadership development.
What this means for our colleagues
Achieving Menopause Friendly Accreditation provides colleagues with reassurance that IC24 is committed to creating a workplace where menopause is recognised, understood and supported. It means colleagues can expect access to practical resources, informed managers, workplace adjustments where needed, and a culture where conversations about menopause are encouraged rather than avoided.
Importantly, this accreditation isn't the end of our journey. It reflects our commitment to continually listening to colleagues, improving our support, and ensuring menopause remains part of our wider Inclusion & Belonging and wellbeing strategy.
This accreditation marks another important milestone in IC24's commitment to creating a workplace where every colleague feels seen, heard and supported.
