Freedom to Speak Up Statement
Meet IC24's Freedom To Speak Up Champions.
Like many other NHS organisations, we have appointed Freedom to Speak Up Guardians, who will support our colleagues to speak up if they feel they're unable to do so in other way.
Dr Meriel Wynter - FTSU Guardian I have a longstanding primary care career both in and out of hours spanning more than 30 years, linked with being Director of Quality through a long span with the local CCG. Within my role of Medical Director Professional Standards and Responsible Officer, I always want to hear about any system issues which may affect clinician wellbeing or standards and willing to be brave and speak up for my colleagues
Lisa Hatton-Shaw - FTSU Guardian Over the last 10 years at IC24, I have provided People advice and support across our 111 and OOH services in Norfolk, Essex and Kent. I have been a FTSU Guardian for the last 2 years and I am passionate about ensuring all colleagues have access to someone to talk to raise concerns at work.
As part of our annual review of our Freedom to Speak Up arrangements we have reviewed and updated our annual statement.
