I've been with IC24 for four years. During that time, I've had the opportunity to take on new challenges and work with a wide range of colleagues across the organisation. Every day is different, which keeps the role interesting and rewarding.

I joined IC24 because, after many years working in the public sector, particularly within healthcare, I wanted to continue contributing to services that support patients. Procurement may not be a frontline role, but it plays a vital part in enabling those who deliver care directly. What keeps me motivated is knowing that the work we do can have a real impact on our patients, communities and colleagues.

In my current role, I support the organisation by ensuring goods and services are procured in a cost-effective way without compromising quality. This includes managing supplier relationships, ensuring compliance, and working closely with teams across IC24 to meet their needs. One of the best things about my role is the variety it offers, along with the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues from across the organisation.

I am particularly proud of the support I have provided to projects throughout IC24. Whether it's securing value for money, improving efficiency through system optimisation, or developing detailed specifications, it's rewarding to know my work contributes to the organisation's ongoing success.

What stands out most about IC24 is its culture. The organisation encourages teamwork, innovation and continuous improvement. There is a strong sense of purpose throughout the business, with everyone working towards the shared goal of delivering excellent care and support.

The most rewarding part of my role is knowing that the work I do helps improve services and systems for both colleagues and patients. Being able to make a positive difference, even behind the scenes, is what makes the role so fulfilling.
