In 2013 we were awarded the Social Enterprise Mark.
We wanted our patients, our staff and our commissioners to feel reassured that any surplus made does not go into anything other than the organisation.
The Social Enterprise Mark independently proves when a business or organisation puts any surplus towards social or environmental good.
The Gold Social Enterprise Mark helps us achieve this by benchmarking and acting on these important aspects of our business.
This means that we can communicate clearly to our patients, our people and our partners about how we are enhancing the services that we provide them with.
In 2014 we were first awarded with the Gold Social Enterprise Mark and we have passed the renewal process every year since then.
This is the route to social enterprise excellence. We were able to demonstrate and prove best practice across three areas: governance, business ethics and financial transparency.
The Gold Mark is not just about social impact but is also a way of measuring what makes a great Social Enterprise excellent.
In the summer of 2018 we were re-accredited with the Gold Mark, following an assessment by the Social Enterprise Mark CIC.
