Our integrated NHS 111 and out of hours service in Norfolk and Waveney has been rated good in all five domains following a Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection.
The service was inspected on 21 June 2018 by the CQC. Inspectors reviewed the service under five key questions:
- Are services safe?
- Are services effective?
- Are services caring?
- Are services responsive?
- Are services well led?
The report, which was published on 30 July, rated our service as Good in all five areas.
Yvonne Taylor, Chief Executive of IC24, said: ‘I’m delighted for our patients and staff that our service has been rated as ‘Good’ across the board. Since 2015 when we started delivering the NHS 111 and out of hours service in Norfolk and Waveney we have worked extremely hard to improve and provide our patients with a better experience. This report highlights that work, and importantly that we have processes in place to learn and improve further. I would like to thank all our staff across the county for the professional way in which they deliver our service.’
