We are delighted to announce that our Deputy Chief Executive and Chief Medical Officer Dr Andrew Catto has been appointed as CEO designate of Integrated Care 24.
Following a rigorous recruitment process, which involved our Board, Executive team and members of our employee forum, Andrew was chosen to succeed Yvonne Taylor when she retires in the Spring of 2020.
Andrew joined IC24 in early 2017 as our Chief Medical Officer and in that time has proven his leadership skills, and his positive vision for our future in urgent care. In February 2018 he was made Deputy Chief Executive of the organisation.
It is envisaged he will take over from Yvonne as substantive CEO in March 2020.
Dr Andrew Catto said: ‘I’m really proud to be announced as the new Chief Executive of IC24. I’ve really enjoyed my time here so far and see every day the passion our people have for providing the best possible care for our patients. It is an exciting time to be working within urgent care as the national specification develops, and I know that IC24 has an important role to play in embedding new and enhanced services within the localities we serve.’
As a result of this appointment, the Board has initiated a search for a new Chief Medical Officer to succeed Andrew.
