Members of staff at our Ashford Head Office helped raise over £300 for Macmillan Cancer Support during a recent ‘coffee morning’.
On Friday 29 September we held a cake sale, with a variety of treats on offer that had been baked at home the night before. An award for ‘best baker’ was also up for grabs. Prizes that had been generously donated by local businesses were also raffled off, with a total of £317.83 being raised.
The sale was staffed by resource planning coordinator Louise Davis, who came into work on her day off to host the event.
Louise said: ‘It was a really successful day and I’m overwhelmed at the generosity of my colleagues, who have helped raise this money for such a worthwhile cause.’
Colleagues within our NHS 111 care coordination centre in Ipswich also held a cake sale, raising a total of £252.53.
Additionally, our Woodingdean office held a coffee morning and cake sale which raised a sum of £120.28.
Many thanks to everyone who took the time to either bake or buy cakes!
